Egypt. Discovered the oldest brewery in the world
It would date back more than 5,000 years and could produce thousands liters of beer per day
A research group of American and Egyptian archaeologists, chaired by Dr. Matthew Adams of NYU, and Dr. Deborah Fischach of Princeton University have uncovered what may be the world's oldest industrial-scale brewery located in Abydos (not far from Luxor), according to the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt, which announced the discovery on Facebook.
