Canada: British Columbia taxes sugary drinks

Once the exemption has been canceled, the tax will start from 1 April. Income for Cad 30 million per year

The Canadian province of British Columbia has decided to cancel the exemption from the provincial sales tax, which today applies to carbonated drinks containing sugar, natural sweeteners or artificial sweeteners.
